Mike Keenan
President and CEO

Mike Keenan held numerous positions during his 30 years at Newport News from Hull Outfitting Foreman, Blast/Coat Superintendent, Plant Manager of Asheville Industries, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, to Director of Commercial Construction. While working with Newport News, Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University in 1979 and his MBA from William & Mary in 1992. He is also a graduate apprentice from Newport News Shipbuilding. Mike was most recently President of Tampa Bay Shipbuilding & Repair for 3 years until he joined IMIA as Chief Operating Officer in January 2000.

Frank Griffeth
Vice President

Frank Griffeth is a graduate of Southwest State Technical College. He has over twenty years of ship repair experience, with fifteen of those years serving as a Paint Superintendent/Estimator at a Gulf Coast Shipyard prior to joining IMIA, LLC in 2000. Under his leadership, IMIA Defense Division, has expanded its operations to perform preservation on Surface Ships and Submarines in Mayport, FL, Kings Bay, GA, Norfolk, VA, Newport News, VA, and Bremerton, WA.
