IMIA was established in Theodore, Alabama in December of 1985 to fill the demand for a responsive company, specializing in marine coatings, corrosion control, and abatement and containment. IMIA’s reputation as a heavyweight - both inland and on the waterways - was built the old-fashioned way, one vessel at a time. Our philosophy and mission is a simple one: “performance, not promises.” And with each new undertaking, we push the standards expected of us, yielding quality-driven, high-performance results.
